Pain door way of the enemy

The enemy will try by all means to get access to your life by using even pain. We rarely  recognise this tactic used against us. I can't help but compare it with a physical wound. Our skin amongst other things protects us from infections. As soon as it rips or cuts infections have direct access to our blood stream and if not treated immediately can cause serious illnesses.

And so it goes for our emotional wounds if not treated immediately. The enemy is quick to seethe in and make your pain a door way into your life. All of a sudden you blame everyone for your pain. The first person we blame is God, why did not He prevent my pain, He is not a good God. Then it’s the people close to us, our family and friends.

We create a barrier that makes it hard for other people to reach out to us. Leaving us isolated for the enemy to be our conscious, whispering every lie that ever was in our ears. Then pain turns into anger and resentment towards God and our close ones. This is the oldest tactic that ever was in battles, isolate and attack, divide and conquer. The enemy wants you alone so that he can have his way with you.

What is that pain that is causing you to isolate yourself and distance yourself from God and loved ones.  Healing is in expressing your pain in a healthy way. Talk to God, tell him your disappointments how your expected Him to rescue you and that you feel let down.

Tell your family and friends that you need time to express and go through your pain. Most families and friends will try to cheer you up and expect you to try  and forget about your pain. They don't realise its healthy to cry sometimes and let that pain out. Its ok to be sad some days and mourn that loss you experienced. That tragedy you just when through. Like a physical wound your emotional wound needs to be dressed and treated in order for it to heal. Being covered in that bandage will not bring healing.

Take that first step to healing express your pain and don’t hold back. Cry, talk about it. And finally ask God to help you, ask him to carry you. You will starting having more good days than bad.

Be Blessed.
